During the exhibition MWC 2015, Intel announced a new line of chips Cherry Trail and three new processors that will go into it: Intel Atom x3 (SoFIA), Intel Atom x5 and Intel Atom x7.
Chip Atom x3 designed for smartphones and Phablet, and on the basis of the other 2 processors will be built laptops and tablets (including tablets transformers) with more screen sizes. Today we have the opportunity to meet with one of the devices with a processor Intel Atom x5 on board.
This is a prototype Android tablet Lenovo, the processor is made using 14-nanometer technology and has a TDP of 4.5 watts. Yet unnamed new design is like tablet Lenovo Tab S8-50 and this device will be made at the company BYD Electronic, which is an OEM / ODM manufacturer of smartphones and tablets such well-known brands such as the Nokia, Motorola and Lenovo.
